Core Certificate Programs

Here at New Directions Theological Institute, we offer Seven Core CEU Certificate Programs:
  • BCP251 - Basic Certificate Program (10 CEUs) - An introductory level program designed to acquaint students to the certificate program approach.  The student may take a variety of courses based on interest and course offerings.

  • BLS252 - Biblical Studies Certificate Program (15 CEUs) - Spiritual enrichment program designed to deepen one's own understanding of God's Word.  This program is based on eight Warren Wiersbe books that comprise the eight courses.  The goal of this coursework is to deepen one's understanding of selected books of the Bible.

  • LCC250 - Lay Counselor Certificate Program (15 CEUs) - A program for laypersons to provide basic counseling tools from a biblical perspective.  The goal is to equip individuals to share Christ through biblical counseling

  • CMC253 - Church Ministries Certificate Program (15 CEUs) - A program for laypersons to provide basic ministry tools to equip the local church leader or pastor.  The curriculum is based on the Evangelical Training Association (www.etaworld.org) training series.  The curriculum touches on many operational and planning ministry aspects.

  • CWC245 - Chrisian Worldview (15 CEUs)- This certificate is in partnership with LBC's (Lancaster Bible College) Degree Completion (DC) program.  A student can audit an online or on-campus DC course and receive 4 CEUs for each completed course.  The student can complete all 30 CEUs through DC leading to an Advanced Certificate.

  • ACP255 - Advanced Certificate Program (30 CEUs) - This certificate indicates the student is a graduate of the Biblical Enrichment Institute.  The certificate requires 40% of the courses available in Bible or doctrine.  This is a capstone honor that enables the student to become an LBC alumnus and opt to participate in their Spring or Fall graduation.

  • CHAP201 - Chaplaincy Certificate Program

  • ANG150Anger Management Certificate Program (BONUS PROGRAM) - This program will provide you with the skills and curriculum to help others learn how to cope with their anger in healthy ways by turning anger into assertiveness, problem-solving, empathy, conflict resolution and forgiveness. Once trained – you can offer courses, seminars, individual sessions and groups awarding certificates to those desiring personal change or mandated by courts, employers, schools and other institutions to take anger management classes.

In Addition to NDTI's Seven Core Certificate Programs, Exclusively at NDTI, We have the Instructor Certification and the Advanced Instructor Certification programs:
  • ICC101Instructor Certification  - This is for the layperson who desires to be instructed in how to become an effective instructor, effective in giving presentations, and those who desire to improve their public speaking.  It serves as the prerequisite class to the Advanced Intructor Certification class.  No CEUs are earned in this class.  This class helps candidates for NDTI positions and qualify them for the positions' requirements.

  • AIC101 - Advanced Instructor Certification - This is for the student who has completed the Instructor Certification class to deepen their understanding of how to become an effective instructor, more effective as a presentor, and to become an expert public speaker.  No CEUs are earned in this class.  This class helps candidates qualify to become NDTI Instructors and Advanced Instructors.

  •   Both certifications can benefit professionals no matter what their profession.  They both help students to improve in their communication, their interpersonal skills, and their overall retention no matter what they are learning themselves.
