Dr. Andrew Watkins, Sr. Ph.D.

The Trinity Cornerstone Christian Fellowship of Churches & Ministries, Int'l. is led by Chief Apostle and Presiding Prelate, Dr. Andrew Watkins, Sr., Ph.D. Dr. Watkins has been called by God to lead as an humble servant, ministering to the needs of others who have been anointed to lead God's people and build up the Kingdom of Christ Jesus.  He is the founder and the former Senior Pastor of New Directions Christian Fellowship Church in Houston, Texas, a congregation that currently operates as a pioneer member of this fellowship. He currently serves as the President and CEO of the Christian Educational Services of Higher Learning, a university system that houses the Flagship University of the fellowship, Christian University of Southern Indiana, as well as New Directions Theological Institute.

 

God has truly called Dr. Watkins to service for the building up of His Kingdom.  God's calling on Dr. Watkins's life is most evident when he allows God to use him to break the bread of life.  He is an inspirational preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  He has a heart for the men and women of God who lead God's people.  He is passionate, tenacious, persistent, and consistent about doing the work of the Lord with power, precision, and excellence.

Dr. Watkins has earned various degrees that have equipped him, consecrated him, and prepared him to lead God's anointed.  He earned his Ph.D., Doctorate of Philosophy in Theology & Behavioral Counseling from United Theological Seminary.  He is the recipient of an Honorary Doctor of Divinity and an earned D.C.C., Doctor of Christian Counseling, from Christian Bible Institute and Seminary.  From CBIS, he also received an M.A., Master of Arts, also in Christian Entrepreneurship, Organizational & Leadership Development. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management from from The University of Atlanta (Formally Barrington University) and an Associates degree in Paralegal Studies from The Paralegal Institute at Brighton College.

Dr. Watkins has also earned a number of credentials that qualify him to do the work that God has appointed him to do. He is a Board Certified Biblical Therapist and a Board Certified Faith Based Clinical Counselor from the International Institute of Faith Based Counseling.  He is a graduate of the Anger Management Institute of CounselCare Connection.  He is an Anger Management Manager/Management Trainer Specialist and is credentialed as a Certified Anger Management Specialist II with the National Anger Management Association.  He is a Professional  Certified Christian Counselor, Doctoral Diplomat, and a member of the International Association of Christian Counseling Professionals (IACCP).  He is a Certified Behavior Analyst and a Certified Pastoral Manager from Clergy  University. Dr. Watkins has received a Certificate of Attendance National Association for Children of Alcoholics Understanding Addiction and Supporting Recovery.  He specializes in Anger Management, Domestic Abuse, Crisis Resolution, and Substance Abuse.  

 

Dr. Watkins' leadership exudes clear direction, compassion, and high ethics with great  attention to order and detail.  He is highly credentialed and persistently studious, with application, to the Word of God.  His lifestyle of holiness is exemplary to all of those around him.  He loves God with all of his heart, soul, strength and mind as he lives a Christian walk with Jesus Christ.

Under the leadership of Bishop Robert F. Durgan and the Executive Board of the former All About Christ Network  of Churches and Ministries, Dr. Watkins formally served as the First Assistant Presiding Prelate, Chief Officer of Operations of the entire organization, and the Jurisdictional Bishop of the Fourth Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction.  Dr. Watkins also served as a member of the Executive Board and was the Vice Presiding Bishop over the International Division.

Dr. Watkins is married to Lady Dr. Dorceia J. Watkins, Ph.D. and they have been married for over seventeen years.  They have ten beautiful children:  Megan, Ashley, Andrew II, Leeandru, Tyrone, Juanita, Dorsey, Solomon, Isaac, and Norris.  They both love the Lord with all of their hearts, all of their strength, and all of their minds.  They are both committed to doing whatever the will of God is for their lives.
