Adjunct Professor

Dr. Janet Manning, Ph.D.

Dr. Janet Manning is the Department Chair for the Curriculum Development Department for Christian University of Southern Indiana while serving as one of the Adjunct Professors.  She currently serves as the senior pastor at New Directions Christian Fellowship Church in Houston, Texas and as the Outreach Coordinator for the I Am Saved Now (IASNF)  Fellowship of Christian Churches and Ministries, International. She is the Founder and Executive Director of the ACCLAIM Youth Foundation and serves on the Advisory Board for New Directions Theological Institute while serving as one of their instructors. 

 

Dr. Manning received her Bachelor of Science degree from Paul Quinn College, a Masters of Education degree from Western Governor University, and a Masters in Business Administration from Texas Southern University in Houston.  Dr. Manning earned a Doctorate of Ministry from Christian Bible Institute and Seminary and she has received a Ph.D. in Theology from Christian University of Southern Indiana. 

 

Dr. Manning is a Certified Christian Counselor, Christian Life Coach, and Certified Chaplain.  Dr. Manning has been in ministry for a number of years and has ministered first, to her children and family as a homeschooler.  Within various ministries, Dr. Manning has spear-headed etiquette classes for girls; feeding the homeless events during the holidays, particularly during the Thanksgiving holiday; Women's Conferences and Teas; and has been the event coordinator and planner of a number of ministry events and fundraisers.

 

Dr. Manning has always enjoyed helping others and has made it her life's mission to be a blessing to others through mentorship, preaching, teaching, and impartation of God's Word.
