The Responsibility of Giving
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
~Malachi 3:8-10~
Importance of Giving
As stated in the scripture above by the prophet, Malachi, we must bring our tithes into the storehouse. Our storehouse is the church, and our mission as a church, is to be of service to God and to His people. It is the responsibility of the members of our church and others to give so the church will have the resources it needs to function as a physical house of prayer, meeting the spiritual needs of the people. Remember, as the song goes:
You can't beat God's giving,
No matter how hard you try,
The more you give,
The more He gives to you,
Just keep on giving,
Because it's really true,
You can't beat God's giving,
No matter how hard you try.

Be obedient to God and He will bless you. Be faithful in your giving and watch Him open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that you shall not have room enough to receive.

Giving by Mail:

Make checks payable to UCCBC or Unity Community Christian Baptist Church.

In the memo section of your check, include a brief description (e.g. tithes, offering, WMU, the Brotherhood)
